Semera, Afar Region | July 26, 2026 – Soloda Health and Technology College is set to celebrate its 10th Round Graduation Ceremony on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at its Semera Campus. The ceremony will take place at Dinu Hotel, Hall 8, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., bringing together graduates, families, government officials, academic leaders, and invited guests to mark another important milestone in the college’s contribution to skilled human resource development.
A total of 819 students will graduate in degree and diploma programmes. Degree graduates will receive qualifications in Pharmacy, Nursing, Management, and Accounting, while diploma graduates will complete their studies in Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory, Management, and Accounting.
The ceremony will be honoured by distinguished guests from the Afar Regional State, including Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Omar, Head of the Afar Regional State Bureau of Labour and Skills; Ms. Hasna Mohammed Dawud, Deputy Head of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Sector at the Bureau of Labour and Skills; Eng. Babo Hassan, Director of the Technology Transfer and Industry Extension Directorate under the TVET Sector of the Bureau of Labour and Skills; Mr. Ali Abdukadir Humed, Director of the Afar Regional State Centre of Competence (CoC) Directorate; and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed, Founder and Owner of Vision Africa College. Their participation underscores the strong partnership between educational institutions and the regional government in promoting quality education, technical skills, and workforce development.
The graduation ceremony reflects Soloda Health and Technology College’s continued commitment to producing competent professionals who will contribute to the health, business, and development sectors in the Afar Region and across Ethiopia.
